The Arts: Salvador Dali's, "The Persistence of Memory" Influence in Fashion?

In Vogue's March 2012 issue there's this Diane von Furtenberg advertisement that I feel is completely channeling Salvador Dali's, "The Persistence of Memory." What do you think?
